Many tourists flock to Prague to experience the city's feel for themselves. Couples are seduced by the elegance and romantic atmosphere the Old Town can offer, not to mention the host of sightseeing that awaits them. As a result of this, Prague has quickly become one of the world's favourite destinations for city breaks.
Prague attracts millions of people every year during the high season, and it isn't a big place! If you don't fancy queuing to see the major sights or elbowing your way through the crowds in the Old Town, get up early - you'll beat the queues simply by setting your alarm clock nice and early, so see the big sights first thing in the morning and relax in the afternoon.
Prague is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The majestic city of Prague has earned a number of beautiful nicknames such as the" city of a hundred spires," "the Left Bank of the Nineties," the "mother of cities," and "the heart of Europe."
Trip planners and holiday companies are a good option if you do not want to go through all the hassle of finding the affordable deals, airfares, and hotel packages. On the contrary, you just have to contact a company and they will arrange all the details for you. The only difficulty that you can face is that you will be offered these packages at higher rates as compared to one that you arrange. After all, the company also has to take care of its commissions and other charges.
Prague has a large variety of restaurants which are located mainly near the city centre. The cuisine in Prague is similar to that of central Europe, dishes contain large portions of meat, mainly beef or pork, and are served with potatoes or rice. On special occasions game is normally served as a main course. Czech beers are famous around the world, and accompany a meal very well.
For cheap accommodation you can look for budget hotels or hostels, many of the latter now have good facilities and have moved on dramatically from the backpacker hostels of old. In major cities renting an apartment can be cheaper if there are 3 or 4 people sharing or a family. If you are getting out into the Prague then camping or a campervan could be a good basis for a cheap holiday in Prague.

In Search of the Perfect Culinary Holiday in Spain's Rioja Region
While many Autumn travellers head to the streets of Barcelona in the search of good tapas, the clever tourist heads down a bit lower, a hour and a half a way from Bilbao for a great culinary experience.
Spain's Rioja region offers some of the best places to eat and drink in the whole country, with two of the most raved about foodie destinations within very close distance of one another, one is Laguardia, the other is Logrono. There are Spanish men who trawl from town to town by bicycle searching for the best dishes and wines, though realistically you'll need a car to get about.
Renting one of the Spanish villas in Laguardia offers a great opportunity to get about and sample the diverse offerings from around the region. The first port of call here is the turreted Castillo El Collado, where we are met with some of the most mouth watering Jamon, with a fine bottle of Rioja to wash it down with.
In the area there is a rustic feel, a rather old worldly destination of old villas and plenty of greenery, but the wineries can offer a different feeling. The Marques de Riscal is a sight to behold, it looks as if it has just landed from Space, that is because the astonishing building was designed by Frank Gehry, meaning it must be seen if you are passing through.
Up the hill Biagorri offers wine tastings, and again this is a sleek futuristic design. Here they lead you down several floors, teaching you a great deal about the Riojan wine developed here, there is a tinge of yeast in the air as you take your tour. Then at the end of the tour and tasting they settle you down in to the complexes restaurant, which perches itself just over the sprawling vineyards. Classic Spanish cuisine is served including Cheese Croquettes, stews and chops, all of course, accompanied by a big glass of red wine.
Then for tapas a trip to Logrono is essential, these streets have been trawled by Hemingway and the tapas has received royal approval. It's a town densely populated with tapas bars, you can barely take twenty steps without finding yourself at one of their doorways.
It's certainly a fun experience, each tapas joint has two or free specialities, leading to something of a tapas crawl. You start in one bar ordering whatever delicacy they may have, there is a range of chorizo dishes, lamb kebabs, octopus, squid, fish, the whole gamut that tapas has to offer, but because each bar specialises, there are no over stretched menus. Locals will pour inn and order glasses of carbonated red wine which is very popular here, though your gut won't thank you if you over indulge. Then everyone moves on to the next bar for more eating, more drinking. By the end everyone is a sated drunken wreckage, laughing away as they make their ways back home.
For a final stop there is Dinastia Vivanco, a winery and museum. The owner here has amassed a great amount of wine related memorabilia including the world's largest corkscrew collection. For lunch there is a speciality dish of lambchops with asparagus which is beautifully prepared and goes wonderfully with the stretching vineyard view.
For anyone in pursuit of the perfect culinary holiday, the Rioja region is your destination.

What to look for in Windermere hotels
Of course, it is great to have a large choice of hotels to choose and luckily, the internet has made searching and comparing hotels much easier now. With the ability to check availability as well, searching, choosing and booking can even be done late at night.
Everyone has different stipulations and requirements when it comes to the kind of hotel they'd like to stay in but some basic points can be found below.
Often not first on guests lists but a point that is predicted to have a bigger impact in coming months and years is eco friendly. Is the hotel eco friendly? Does it have any environmental awards such as the Cumbria Business Environment Network that Cumbria has? Do they recycle and encourage guests to recycle? Apart from recycling and energy conservation, hotels in Windermere and the Lake District can play a large part in conservation of wildlife and the beautiful landscape. The Tourism and Conservation Partnership is another organisation. They support tourism businesses who wish to invest in the landscape and environment. With a membership of over 200 tourism businesses in Cumbria, The Tourism and Conservation Partnership are working together to ensure a sustainable further for Cumbria – The Lake District. Their website has a list of members so this could be a good starting point when searching for your hotel.
Do they serve locally sourced food in their breakfasts or on their restaurant menus? This is important and relates to both environmental issues, ie, cutting down on food miles but using locally sourced produce also benefits the local economy. In areas such as Cumbria and the Lake District, local really is best as they have such a large amount of quality produce available.
Location is a large factor. Making sure you know exactly where the hotel is situated and that it suits your requirements is very important. Should you be relaying on public transport then a hotel off the beaten track probably isn't the best idea. A hotel should have a map of the location on their website and these have become more detailed in recent years but should you not be entirely sure, a quick ring through to the hotel will confirm. Windermere has a distinct advantage when it comes to using public transport with a train station that joins the West Coast mainline and Manchester Airport and a bus station where buses run regularly to all the major towns in the Lakes. Many hotels in Windermere offer to organise a taxi to bring you to the hotel which is a good service to be offered.
Does the hotel have any leisure facilities? A swimming pool can be a welcome relaxation after a long day on the fells but also useful should it be raining. Rain does occur quite regularly in the Lake District, but after all, there wouldn't be any lakes if there wasn't! Having a hotel that has leisure facilities or even just lovely, spacious communal areas such as lounges or snugs mean the rain will not be an inconvenience.

Dinner at Sea
The word cruise conjures a number images, most of them heavily informed and warped by the venerable Captain Stubing and his faithful crew. While, yes, the Love Boat was certainly a cruise ship, it was a far cry from the luxury yachts that abound today in Marina del Rey. And why, you may ask, should you care about the plentiful yachts in this most-posh marina? Well, there are a host of occasions that can provide adequate reasons for chartering a yacht.
While you could give in to the urge to live out the ubiquitous hop-hop meme of hosting a champagne party on board a yacht, there are better reasons to lay down your hard-earned capital. Have you ever considered a leisurely Los Angeles dinner cruise? Or perhaps a nautical wedding? What about simply getting away from it all. To be sure, you could charter a yacht to just moor off the coast of Catalina Island and relax. Indeed, according my paparazzi friends, just such a tactic is favored by the rich and famous (whom shall remain nameless).
If the notion of celebrating at sea strikes your fancy, take heart in the fact that many yacht services offer catered meals. They can prepare everything from the hors devours to the dessert and keep you plied with a cellar's worth of fine wines, name-brand liquors, and imported beers. While this dinner party at sea need not become too rowdy, it should prove just lively enough to be fondly remember by your guests. Of course, given that much wine and spirits, it may be difficult to remember much of anything.
Before reserving your yacht for that fateful dinner cruise, be sure to contact the yacht services in the marina well in advance. The last thing you would want to do is drag your entire entourage down to the marina, only to find you had to book a month in advance.
The perfect LA dinner cruise is just a reservation away. Be sure to look into having the dinner catered.

Five Fun Beaches in Miami You Should Know About
With summer 2010 and vacation season on our doorstep, Miami is a popular choice for Americans and international vacationers alike. If you are coming in from out of town, Miami is fortunate to be home of some of the best value boutique, design and cool hotels not just in the United States but the world.
Miami is a city rich in activities and culture. With many restaurants and all kinds of different things to see and do. However, a trip to Miami, especially in the Summer most definitely would not be complete without a visit to one of their sparkling beaches featuring white sand and clear blue water.
Bill Baggs State Park - Ranked by MSNBC as one of the Top 10 beaches in the United States, Bill Baggs State park beach is just over a short 10 mile drive from downtown Miami. Positioned along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, the beach is ideal for swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and snorkeling. Bill Baggs State Park also features the Cape Florida Lighthouse, the counties oldest standing structure.
Crandon Park Beach - Positioned about 7 miles from downtown Miami between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay, Crandon Park Beach features three miles of lagoon style beach with the safety of being surrounded by lifeguard towers. Crandon Park Beach is a very family friendly and accessible beach with picnic areas, access to rental wheelchairs and a children's playground.
Homestead Bayfront Park - A little further out than the other beaches, Homestead Bayfront Park is a 30 mile drive down South from downtown Miami. One of the benefits of being so far from the city is it totally avoids the tourist scene that is found nearly everywhere closer to town. If you want to hang out with the local boating and swimming community than this is a good beach to visit.
South Beach - As touristy as it might have become, no visit to Miami is complete without a visit to the beach experience in Miami. Not exactly a family friendly beach with topless bathing permitted in addition to the area being surrounded by famous nightclubs, it might be a good idea to keep visits here 18+. Possibly not the best beach to swim, but for people and celebrity watching it's a place to see.
Virginia Key Beach - Just a little over 3 miles away from Miami, this beach is a good destination for the whole family with the Miami Seaquarium right nearby. Virginia Key beach is best described as an average beach, with good swimming and good recreational activities. For these reasons it can get very busy through peak seasons.
There is plenty of information on the Internet of the above featured five beaches, but do make sure you do your research on opening times and popularity depending on when you are planning on visiting. If you are looking for others places to stay you can find other well priced boutique hotels at nominaldesignhotels.com.

Guide to Tipping Practices Around the World
If you are an avid world traveler or are planning to take a trip to another country, one part of the trip that can be confusing is how much should be given as a 'tip.' It can be confusing figuring out how much of a tip to give for good service and you also want to make sure that you don't end up leaving a big tip for bad service, especially when considering the foreign exchange. To help you figure out the best tipping practices, the following is a guide to tipping around the world.
Canada: When visiting Canada, it is suitable to leave a tip of 15 - 20 percent at a restaurant, 10 - 20 percent at a bar, and 10 - 20 per cent for taxi drivers. At establishments such as coffee shops, there is normally a tip jar by the cash register where customers can drop a few coins in the jar.
For hotels, it is appropriate to tip maids at $1 - $2 per day, the concierge a small amount at check out, and room service at about 15%.
United States: When visiting the US, it is appropriate to leave 20% at restaurants, 20% at bars, pocket change at a cashier tip jar, and at a take out restaurant, between $2 and $5. For taxi drivers, it is standard to leave $2 for a $5- fare and $3 for a $10- fare. Any higher taxi fare, the tip is about 20%. For hotels, tipping is as follows: maids: $5 to $10/night, room service: about $20%, and concierge: $10 for making any arrangements such as reservations, and $5 for providing information.
Mexico: For restaurants in Mexico, sometimes the bill includes the tip. If it does not include the tip, 10% - 15% is appropriate. At a bar, 10% of the total or $1 to $2 per round of drinks is suitable. For hotels, tips include: bellmen $1-$2 per bag, concierge $5 - $10 for making arrangements, maid $3 - $5 per day, valet $1 - $2, and a taxi driver is about a few dollars.
Caribbean: For all inclusive resorts and hotels, the price will include the tip. For restaurants, it is about 10%, and bars about 15% of the total bill or $1 per drink. For taxi drivers, tipping is about $1 - $2 and more for holidays, Sundays, and late night fares. For hotels, maids are about $2 per day, valets are a few dollars, and bellmen are about $1-$2 per bag.
Europe: Many European countries do not expect tips. In France, a service charge is included, however, for really good service, it is suitable to add a 10 -15% tip. As well, it is fine to leave change at a café. In the UK and Ireland, a service charge will be included at hotels and restaurants, however, for really great service, you can add 10%. In the UK and Ireland, people do not tip in pubs. Tipping is not expected in Germany, Portugal, Italy, and Spain; however, 10% can be added for great service. For taxi drivers, it is appropriate to tip about 10%. For European hotels, it is suitable to tip two Euros for maids and porters.
Every country has its own criteria regarding tipping. It is always helpful and prevents misunderstandings when you know what to tip so that you can have a relaxing and fun vacation. Remember, the people waiting on you work hard, and the tip you provide will likely help their family.

Wine and Walking - New Zealand's Favourite Pastimes
No matter what kind of traveller you are, if you are planning a holiday to New Zealand, the chances are that you are going for either of the country's two most popular draw cards: the wine or the walking. New Zealand has abundant opportunities to enjoy either or, more often than not, both at the same time. Famed for the extraordinary scenery as well as the world-class wines it produces, New Zealand spoils the visitor for choice when it comes to planning an itinerary involving these two most pleasurable pursuits.
Savour a Sauvignon Blanc
These days, New Zealand is producing what is fast becoming renowned as the world's best Sauvignon Blanc. If you want to experience what the critics are raving about right at the cellar door, then you will be in wine heaven when you visit the Marlborough region of New Zealand. Walking in this area, which is located in the northeast of the South Island, provides plenty of opportunities to sample the wines along the way, and the picturesque beauty of Marlborough Sounds draws thousands of tourists every year. Whilst hiking, cycling or kayaking through stunning vistas along the spectacular route of the Queen Charlotte Track, you will always, in the back of your mind, be able to look forward to the evening spent sampling Marlborough's best wine and fine dining.
Mull over a Merlot
If a New Zealand walking holiday to Hawkes Bay is on your wish list, then you'll be visiting the region which produces over half the varieties of the country's Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot wines. While Merlot is a relative new-comer to New Zealand, only appearing in the mid 1980s, it is perhaps this variety more than any other which has cemented the country in many experts' opinions as being a serious player on the world wine stage. Located on the east coast of the North Island, the Hawkes Bay province is one of the most diverse landscapes for a New Zealand walking holiday. Encompassing the hilly interior region as well as the picturesque coast, Hawkes Bay's temperate climate makes it popular with not only the growing number of wine producers, for whom the conditions are perfect, but also the many visitors who come to enjoy the twin pleasures of wine and walking.
Pop goes the Sparkle
If you are partial to a bit of fizz after a hard day's walking, New Zealand can serve up any one of its many sparkling varieties of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Muenier, all with their own inimitable style. Sparkling wines are produced in many regions of New Zealand apart from the warmer areas around Auckland; so if bubbles are your passion head to either Gisborne and Hawkes Bay in the North Island for a richer, 'weightier' variety; or to Marlborough in the South Island if your tastes lean a little toward the lighter, more acidic versions. Gisborne, heart of the Eastland region, has the honour of being the first city in the world to see the sun in the mornings and is, in fact, the sunniest place in the entire country. So once you've returned from your day exploring the charming city and tranquil harbour of Gisborne, slip into something more comfortable than your hiking shoes and treat your taste buds to a special treat after all that walking; New Zealand sparkling wine.

How to Visit Hawaii on a Tight Budget
Hawaii is a beautiful place to visit and can most often be that trip of a lifetime. Some of the islands are a bit more expensive than the others. Where you go will depend a lot on what you would like to do while you are there. So, how can you visit Hawaii on a tight budget? Listed below are a couple of tips you can use.
There are some peak vacation seasons in Hawaii. Staying away from these times can save you hundreds of dollars. Try travelling either April to June or September to November. Not only will you save on the islands, but it is also typically cheaper to fly and rent cars during these times too. Don't worry about the weather! It is fabulous during these times.
Deciding which island to visit can also save you money. Islands like Maui and Oahu are usually a bit more pricey. The island of Hawaii is very commercialized and tends to be a bit cheaper. Finding a great vacation spot is no easy task. Wading through recommendations, online reviews and television advertisements can make choosing the next family vacation a full-time job. If you are considering purchasing a timeshare, taking the time to find the best timeshare companies can ensure that you find a great property without getting ripped off. There are many online resources to assist in your search for the perfect timeshare.
If you are concerned about finding a reputable seller, some major hotel chains sell timeshares at their most popular properties. If money is more of a concern, consider looking online for second hand timeshares which are often deeply discounted.
But before you jump into purchasing a timeshare, consider that even the best timeshare companies cannot offer all the benefits of a vacation club. Timeshares are costly. Because you are purchasing a piece of a property, timeshares usually require an upfront payment in addition to annual property taxes and membership fees. Vacation clubs, on the other hand, do not involve ownership of an individual property and usually only require an annual fee.

Although the best timeshare companies offer properties in desirable locations, you must return to the same location every year or else go through a time-intensive process to swap ownership with a fellow timeshare owner. With a vacation club, flexibility is the name of the game. You can choose a new location each year or choose to return to a favorite spot for multiple years in a row.
Before you jump into purchasing a timeshare, take the time to discover the benefits that a vacation club can provide for your family.

Which is Better - To Fly Or Sail to Antarctica?
Imagine if you can a continent which is twice the size of Australia. Not only is this place huge, it is the driest, and highest of all continents. And the distance from the south of Australia to this place is around 10,000 kms, and to fly there on a scenic tour can cost between $1,000 and over $7,000 depending on the seating arrangements required.
The place? Antarctica! It's amazing that scenic flights can be purchased taking passengers from a country which has some of the hottest areas in the world to a vast continent which is the coldest of all places. Temperatures of around -90°C in Antarctica have in fact been recorded.
How awesome to be on a flight departing from Sydney or Melbourne aboard a luxury airliner. I can just imagine listening to the experts on the flight on Antarctica who possess a wealth of knowledge about all aspects of the terrain, the glaciers, mountains, and wildlife.
The downside is that flights are 4 hours to reach Antarctica, with the same length for the return. But, the 4 hours spent flying over this magnificent and breathtaking are has to be worth it.
For those who would like to see Antarctica in closer detail the better option is to take a cruise by sea. That way you'd hopefully get to see some forms of wildlife, and perhaps even a scientific research base. What visitors won't see are land animals, nor plant life. On the other hand tourists may be able to spot some migratory birds, whales, and of course penguins.
Sea faring tourists need to take some precautions against the weather. Extreme cold temperatures which feel even lower with the windchill can lead to hypothermia. And, although most of us who like the hot sunny weather are well aware of the need to use high protection sunscreen, and wear sunglasses, the same goes for Antarctica. Skiers will tell you that the glare from ice and snow can damage one's eyes. Oh, and don't forget sea sickness tablets. It's no fun losing half your holiday time being ill.
So, when it comes down to which is better, to fly or to sail to Antarctica, there really is no right answer.
It all comes down to how much you are prepared to pay for your trip to Antarctica, whether you are prepared to sail on specially strengthened ships on rough sea crossings, or you prefer the luxury of flying on planes such as the Qantas 747 or Airbus, seeing more in one way, but in far less detail. Ships often sail from ports in South America, though there are other departure points used sometimes, and of course such a cruise can easily take 2 or 3 weeks, though some may take a little less time. But, by sailing, there's no doubt you will get to see more of the "bottom of the world."

First Time Cruising Tips - Keep in Mind Before You Book
Have you ever thought about the idea that the oldest view in the world is the view of the ocean? For millions and millions of years this view is untouched and unique.
That's why cruising and being at sea is fantastic and a unique experience. Whether you're cruising with Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Princess or Holland America Line, all companies try to offer you their best product.
There are a couple of things I would like to tell you just to prevent you get disappointed on board.
1 Check the location of your cabin.
Cruise ships have a lot of fire screen doors to prevent smoke travelling through the corridors in case of fire. Some are always open and can be closed automatically. But some are always closed and need to be opened when you pass through. A lot of these doors are slamming. Make sure your cabin is in the middle of the corridor and check the location.
2 Check the cruise schedule also known as the Itinerary.
It always looks fantastic when a ship sails into a lot of different ports in a short period of time. But you don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure things out. Just by looking at the chart either you need a hell of a speed or you will be visiting the port very shortly. Most of the time it is the latter. Most of the people you meet during your cruise are interested in the maritime world or have been working at sea in the previous years.

Cruise companies try to save a lot of money just by reducing speed as much as possible so be aware and ask your cruise consultant for more details.

Treat Your Clients Like a King - Private Charter Jets
Most people think about private jet flights as somewhat of a luxury and this is perhaps because they are designed to provide you with that all over pampered experience. When you think about these jets you often think about those celebrities who have to travel a lot and are always being flooded by the masses. There is a certain stigma to this type of elite travel and that is one of the reasons that private jets are used by many companies.
This mode of air travel is one that will impress your clients. Whether you are flying them to and fro or are yourself arriving in their city for a business meeting, there is no better impression to make for your clout then arriving by private jet to a destination or offering them the same to pick them and up and take them where they want to go.
Private jets make clients feel important and make you see more important to them as a figurehead. You will create an air of being at the top of your game and this can truly help you to seal the deal. After all who doesn't want to do business with a company that is thriving and that is the impression that flying like this will make. It is a statement that you make without ever saying a word.
Of course in addition to the impression that this type of air travel makes there are also many benefits to traveling in this way for you and your colleagues as well. Private charter jets allow you to take in a business meeting, go over sales strategies, and even get some rest on those longer flights which will put you into a different time zone. You can take in lunch or just kick back and relax as you fly with ease to your destination.
You can not truly appreciate all that this form of travel can do for you, your clients, and your business until you book a flight and give it a shot. Once you fly on a private jet you will never return to flying on a commercial airline again and you will be amazed at the presence that a private jet will create for your business. In business it is all about image and you can improve yours just by hiring a private charter for your next business trip.

How to Avoid Being Ripped Off on Free and Discount Travel Deals
Traveling can be fun and a great getaway from the normal stresses of life. But since traveling can also be very expensive, many people look for travel deals and discounts to make it more affordable.
The problem is some of these discounts and offers are bogus and can end up causing major disappointment and serious cash.
This article will let you in on some of the on-going scams and how to avoid them, saving you money and your sanity.
1. Vacation Clubs - These clubs offer membership in return of buying vacations at cheaper prices. The problem is that some of the travel packages may not really be discounted. You can perhaps make comparisons of other travel packages from other places but the details tend to get in the way as they can be complicated and may vary so much that it's hard to compare. Also, membership fees for some vacation clubs are through the roof. It makes no sense to pay outrageous fees if you are not even getting a real discount in your travels in the first place. If you are planning to sign up with a vacation club then do so with one that charges moderate prices and that services your social needs.
2. Become a Travel Agent - Some people are fooled by the "become a travel agent and get travel discounts and freebies" scam. They make you pay a fee and then you get the title of travel agent. Of course you know that travel agents can get deals on vacations and traveling but that applies to ones that are employed to a legitimate travel agency and persons in associations such as the Cruise Line Association. Another thing to keep in mind is that travel perks for travel agents aren't as grand as they once were anyway so if you see anything resembling this make a b-line and don't look back. I guarantee you that this is a scam.
3. Low Prices - Prices offered may look good but the truth is that there are hidden costs and fees that you may not even know about. As a result the cost gets higher and chances are you've already locked yourself into making the purchase. Ensure to read the fine print and find out all the costs linked to the vacation before you decide to pay.
4. Free Trips - You have to ask the question, 'Why would I be getting a 100% free trip and I didn't even enter a contest or go on a game show?" If you are offered a free cruise for instance, then chances are you will have to pay your way to get to the cruise ship which may be across the country, then you end up paying the cost of the room they assign to you, the food and drinks, gratuity and entertainment fees. As a result, the cruise ticket was free but with all the other expenses you've racked up, you may have spent more than a person that didn't win a free trip.
There are a lot of scams in the travel industry but with proper precautions, you won't fall prey to their tactics. You have to be skeptical when something seems too good to be true.
There are places you can check out in order to investigate claims made by these scam artists such as American Association of Travel Agents or Cruise Lines International Association.
Also, keep an eye out for the Better Business Bureau Certification on internet travel businesses as good-standing businesses care about their reputation and this seal of approval assures their customers that they are indeed legitimate. In addition, customer reviews will tell you a lot about the operations.
Do they seem too good to be true or do they entail bad occurrences as well?

Solutions For Finding the Best Cheap Flights
Cabin crew strikes and ash cloud delays have put some visitors off air travel, implying people who do wish to fly can grab some fantastic bargains to a range of destinations. There are several things you can do to ensure you are getting the very best deal. It may seem obvious, but dithering can be expensive.
Business travellers are often prepared to pay more to travel at the very end - meaning operators can crank up their prices - so timing is essential. While package vacation deals can offer wonderful last-minute bargains, the same is not right of flights.
If you want to know whether you have some breathing room, try seeing whether the lowest fares are available if nine passengers ( the maximum number airlines typically permit to book ) needed to fly.
One of the greatest techniques of bagging the best fares, is by using screenscrapers. Use more than one screenscaper to spread your net as wide as possible. These are a kind of price comparison site, and they use high-powered technology for the lowest priced seats, by trawling flight brokers, and budget and regular airlines web sites. They have direct links with the airlines, and can save you cash - in particular if you book hostels with them at the exact same time. They can also be a useful back-up tool to make sure you are getting the cheapest seats, and may include some deals not featured somewhere else.
Do also check charter flights - run by package vacation firms if you are going somewhere served by package vacations. Two websites specialise in hunting down the best charter flight deals. Where there are spaces, you can regularly get excellent value tickets. For some destinations, especially long-haul ones, this may prove an improved deal than using a booked flight.
It might even be an option to buy a cheap package holiday, though not use the hotel component.
You may also find travel insurance, which you might not need, or which you may be able to find more cost-effectively somewhere else, has been instantly added to the final tally.
If you go direct to an airlines website, and look up those 1 or maybe 1p deals, be certain you've conscious of what taxes, bag charges and other surcharges will be put on your bill. And remember to print out your confirmation mail, and take it with you to the airport, as you may not be permitted to test in otherwise.
Check the T&Cs of your cheap flight awfully fastidiously, since a repayment isn't typically attainable. When stories of the best sales pops into your Mail, you may be ready to grab yourself a deal.
Ultimately, it may be worth registering for the e-mail newsletter of the airline you wish to travel with, especially if you know you are travelling some months ahead. Maximise the web to net the best fares of Cheap Flights available.

Cordoba - Things to Do in Cordoba
Position
Cordoba is an urban scenario in the south of Spain. It is the capital of the province of Cordoba in Andalusia. It represents one of the most popular destinations of Spain. Moreover, it lies on the river Guadalquivir. Narrow streets with houses painted in white color are symbols of this city. The city has circa 300,000 inhabitants.
Economy
Cordoba is a trading center for citrus fruits and olives, whose plantations are near the city. It also has well developed food, beer and textile industries. Local inhabitants sell various handicrafts, especially those made of leather and silver. They are very popular among the tourists.
History
Cordoba became a prominent city in the Phoenician period. The town blossomed as a key Roman community in the first century BC. Later it was conquered first by the Visigoths in 572, then by Moors in 711. 756 AD marked Cordoba as the capital city of Spain (at the time of Moors).
And from then onwards the city became known for another 250 years for its wide business and scholarly options throughout the world. 929 AD marked another landmark in the history of Cordoba, when the Caliphate of Cordoba was initiated; from then on the city experienced the peak of prosperity. In the 11th century, the caliphate fell, so material well-being of the city dropped. Furthermore, Seville became the capital. In 1236, it was occupied by Ferdinand III. He made many new churches since this piece of Spain received Roman Catholicism.
Catedral de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción
Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption is a cathedral built from the eighth to the tenth century. First, the Moors built a mosque on the remains of a Roman -Visigoth temple, then after Spanish conquest it was changed into the cathedral. This huge building is very interesting since it combines Moslem architecture and Gothic style. Until 1236 it was a well known mosque. However, in 1236 the cathedral was raised in the middle of the mosque. But the remains of Moslem history are preserved in its name- Mezquita, which is in use even today.
It lies on the banks of the river Guadalquivir. Therefore, it is a very attractive historical site for tourists.
The Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos
The second big landmark of Cordoba is Alcazar. It is the former Moorish fortress which was built on the ruins of Visigoth buildings, and later used as headquarters of the Inquisition. The Moors made many baths, gardens and even a library. In 1236, it was rebuilt but in the Mudejar style. Therefore, the Alcazar kept its Islamic appearance.
Historic Center of Cordoba is under UNESCO protection as a world cultural monument.

5 of the Best Places in the World to Scuba Dive
If you are interested in diving, or are already a keen scuba diver, then you will be looking for information on where in the world is the best place to go diving.
Of course not everyone has the same tastes, and what is the best dive in the world for one person may be only OK for another.
What follows therefore is one persons opinion of the 5 Best Places in the World to Scuba Dive.
Number 1 - The Red Sea
A unique diving region and a favourite with many European divers. The Red Sea offers a diversity that is hard to match anywhere in the world. Beautiful hard and soft corals, fish species that are found nowhere else in the world, historic and modern wreck dives, and all year round sunshine.
Number 2 - The Maldives
Tiny island paradises, warm water, and lots and lots of fish life make the Maldives a fantastic diving destination. Soft corals, huge schools of reef fish, plentiful sharks and great opportunities to see Manta Rays and even whale sharks.
Number 3 - Chuuk
If wreck diving is your thing then you will be in paradise. A giant lagoon, almost 40 miles in diameter, located in Micronesia. Beneath its clear waters lie more than 100 ships, planes and submarines. All of them as a result of the World War II Operation Hailstone.
Number 4 - Indonesia
Specifically the area around Manado in North Sulawesi which can combine ripping drift dives over pristine reefs with muck diving for the tiniest of creatures at Lembeh. Strait. Definitely one for the photographers
Number 5 - Bahamas
There are many great diving treats available in the Caribbean but I have picked the Bahamas because of the chance to do a shark feed. Kneeling on the sandy bottom with 20 or more sharks circling and darting past is an experience that has to rate in my top 5.
